Since I was a kid, I’ve been to Cebu countless time but still I haven’t had a chance to visit the well-known Taoist Temple. Not until, last 2011, when my half-Chinese cousin, together with his girlfriend, accompanied me there.
Located in Beverly Hills Subdivision, Lahug, Cebu City, the Taoist Temple is always on the list in the itineraries of the travelers who wants to tour the Metro Cebu. It’s one of the main attractions, along with Magellan’s Cross and Lapu-lapu Shrine. It was built in 1972 by the Chinese community and until now it was still the center of worship for Taoism. Elevated for about 300 meters above sea level, that’s why you could take a good view of Cebu City.
Here are some pictures of the place. Enjoy! Ciao!
