Somewhere in Morong, Bataan, we found a perfect place to relax, where we can stay away from the toxic hospital life. Just a two-day vacay is what we needed to stay sane. LOL. This vacation is already a year ago (summer 2012) but still I want to post and share it here. 😉
Morong, Bataan is 3-4 hours away from Manila. Either commute or a private van will be perfect to reach the place. In our case, we rented a van since we have loads of bags and things to bring.
There were lots of resorts in Morong but we chose Pamarta Bali Beach Resort and we don’t regret it. Upon arriving at the resort this is what greeted us.
Hello infinity pool! Such a gorgeous sight!
Perfect spot to sit while enjoying the view of the beach and the pool.
First thing we did is go to shore and feel the beach!
Opps.. we can’t swim yet ’cause we are sooo hungry.
In Pamarta, they have no restaurants and no ready-to-eat foods available but they have stoves and some cooking utensils that we could use. We bought easy-to-cook foods.
Lunch time! Late lunch actually 🙂
After eating, swimming time!
Then we went boating.
We went to another place, where we visited a Pawikan (Turtle) Sanctuary.
Sorry I don’t have pics of real turtles.
It’s already dusk when we returned to Pamarta.
By the way, on the time that we were there, the only available accommodations were small and big nipa huts. We chose small nipa huts because it’s located on the beachfront. Lucky us, since it’s weekdays, we were only two groups at the resort. Recently, I visited Pamarta’s facebook page and found out they have already villas. Wow, Pamarta is improving, getting better each year! 🙂
After having dinner, we asked the caretaker of the resort to set up a bonfire for us.
Relaxing indeed, having a bonfire set in a cold windy night at the seashore. We chat, drink and even play dodge ball! 🙂
Pamarta at night. Love the lights!
The next day we were up early to snorkel.
The water is so clear! I could see the corals 🙂
Perfect shot of Chad and the infinity pool!
Pictorial before leaving!! 🙂
We spent Php 2,000 per head for this whole trip. Hmm not bad! Having a good time with friends in a wonderful place, it’s all worth it. Now I’m looking forward for another summer beach adventure with them 🙂
